ENGLISH All begins in the spring of 2006 with the end of another band called Templars, because the singer Marco and the guitarist Menga decided to delete the show one hour before that, forcing the others three members, Filo (guitar), Fra (bass) and Igor (drums), to make the show with only one guitar and without the singer. That night Evilspell born. Forced to search for another guitar player and a singer, they noted that it's fucking difficult to find good people, and they continued in three, writing new material and making some shows. After a while, an old friend of Fra, Salvo (guitar and vocals), joined the band, bringing heavy metal sonority. In the winter of the same year, Evilspell recorded the self-titled demo, four tracks with rough rehersal sound, recorded in a rehersal room. They organized a concert for present that first demo, it was a good show, but after some months, before another live appearance, Salvo left the band. They didn't want to delete the concert, and so they searched for another guitarist. Filo meeted Paul in a train station, and asked to him if he wanted to try to play some songs. Paul made an excellent work and learnt the songs in few times, but the show was too near, and so they deleted that. After another shitty gig in a bad pub, with Paul making mosh with other people, he become an effective member. Nice times began for the band with the new member, some new songs and more live show made with violence. In september 2007 they entered the studio to record their second demo: First Attack, which includes five pieces, which speak of war, Satan and the disgust for the society where we live. This time recorded multi-track, it sounds more thrash, it's definitely a better job than the first. It received a good review. The line up is reliable and consolidated more and more. After two good years for the band, filled with live throughout northern Italy, and making other new songs, they decided that it was the time to take another step forward. Between september and november 2009 they returned into the studio for give the birth to their first full lenght, which includes an intro + eight pieces. "Antisocial Satan" is speed / thrash old school, with influences ranging from Slayer to first Cranium and Destruction. The record was released in March 2010 with a presentation concert, one of the best concerts ever of the band. Filled with the dates EvilSpell go great, but the night between 30 and 31 october, Filo, Igor and Paul received at the same time the same message from Frà, a message of thanks and the recommendation to keep on going. The bassist F.R.A. went to a desolate wood and, under the rain, he committed suicide hanging himself in a wood. EvilSpell hold a concert on november 6 to give a final hail to their brother. A lot of people came to watch the live show and bring their support to the band. It 's really hard but EvilSpell keep going as Frà wanted, paying homage in every concert. They are already beginning to compose new songs for the next album, in honor of their brother, staying in three without bass.....
ITALIANO Inizia tutto nella primavera del 2006 dopo lo scioglimento di un'altra band, i Templars, perchè il cantante Marco e il chitarrista Menga decidono di non presentarsi ad un concerto un'ora prima dello show, costringendo gli altri tre membri, Filo, Fra e Igor, rispettivamente chitarra, basso e batteria, a salire sul palco da soli. Quella sera nascono gli EvilSpell. Dovendo cercare un cantante e un chitarrista fanno parecchie audizioni, ma non è semplice trovare delle persone serie e motivate, vanno avanti per un pò in tre componendo pezzi propri e facendo qualche concerto live. Trovano un cantante che suona anche la chitarra, Salvo, un vecchio amico di Fra che si integra subito nella band portando sonorità molto heavy metal al gruppo. Nell'inverno dello stesso anno incidono il loro primo demo omonimo della band: EvilSpell, quattro tracce dal suono molto grezzo, registrato in presa diretta nella sala prove dove provavano. Organizzano un concerto per presentare il demo, la serata va bene ma dopo qualche mese, in occasione di un altro live, Salvo decide di lasciare la band due settimane prima, perchè non se la sente di fare concerti. Non volendo annullare la data cercano subito un altro chitarrista, Filo conosce Paul sul treno e gli propone di provare con loro per il live. Paul va alla grande, si impara subito i pezzi, ma cè poco tempo per preparare il concerto, quindi sono costretti ad annullarlo. Esce fuori un' altra serata, salgono sul palco in tre, in un locale di merda ma quella sera Paul è in mezzo alla gente a far casino e, dopo il concerto, con una piccola riunione di gruppo decidono di proporgli di far parte a tutti gli effetti della band. Inizia un gran bel periodo per gli Evil, un pò di concerti, scrivono nuovi pezzi con sonorità più estreme e a settembre 2007 entrano in studio per registrare il loro secondo demo: First Attack che comprende cinque pezzi, i quali parlano di guerra, Satana e dello schifo di società in qui viviamo. Questa volta registrato in multi traccia, sonorità più thrash, è decisamente un lavoro migliore del primo. Riceve una buona recensione e piace alla gente e gli EvilSpell incominciano a girare per locali in zona Milano. La line up si affiata e si consolida sempre di più. Passano due anni buoni per la band, pieni di live in tutto il nord Italia e altre nuove canzoni, quindi decidono che è arrivata l'ora di fare un altro passo in avanti. Tra settembre e novembre 2009 entrano in studio e danno vita al loro primo album: AntiSocial Satan che comprende nove pezzi speed/thrash molto old school, con influenze che variano dai primi Slayer ai Cranium. Il disco esce a marzo 2010 con un concerto di presentazione, uno dei migliori concerti della band. Pieni di date gli EvilSpell vanno alla grande, ma come un fulmine a ciel sereno nella notte tra il 30 e il 31 ottobre, Fra si suicida senza lasciare spiegazioni, solo un messaggio alla band di ringraziamento per tutti gli anni passati insieme e la raccomandazione di andare sempre avanti. Gli EvilSpell tengono un concerto il 6 novembre per dare un ultimo saluto al loro fratello e compagno, tantissima gente arriva per assistere al live e portare il loro supporto alla band. E' veramente dura ma gli EvilSpell continuano ad andare avanti come voleva Fra e ad ogni concerto gli rendono omaggio. Stanno già cominciando a comporre nuovi pezzi per il prossimo album, in onore al loro fratellino che non c'è più rimanendo in tre..... LINE UP: Filo...voce & chitarra Paul...chitarra Fra...basso (R.
